Thanks Everyone!

I first stumbled into the doors of this Church over two years ago, and it changed my life forever!  I found some truly amazing people who loved Jesus and wanted to really live that in their life.  It was such a blessing in my life, and if you are looking for a Christian home on Geoje Island in South Korea I greatly recommend this great group of people.  I'd like to thank them all, and let them all know they are in my prayers.

Thanks Everyone!

We hope to stop back in once we are back in Korea!

OFC Newsletter...
Hi Everyone,

A lot going on, and I'm so sorry for not sending out a newsletter during the last few weeks due to my wedding.  Thanks again to everyone for your wonderful friendship and support during that/this special time for us.

Many new faces in our Church lately, and let's greet and welcome them all fully into our community!  There is always always room for more!  We are so glad to invite more people into our family!

Sadly, a few of us are leaving soon...  Christelle and I, will be leaving February 18th.  We will have 3 more weeks, but 2 more Sundays I guess, and our last Sunday is Feb. 12th.

Tek which has been here in Geoje for almost 2 and a half years will also be leaving soon for a new job in Daegu as an English Piano teacher at a University there.  Good for him!

Doug, is also sadly departing, and will be leaving very early in March.

Gail will follow Doug a bit later as she too will be saying goodbye to Geoje.

Joelle was going to be leaving too, but may actually be staying a bit longer.

I think the list is longer, and a few more names may be reaching us soon.  Let's keep everyone in our prayers, and enjoy these last few weeks together.

Successful Sunday

The New Chapel was a Hit
(I think)!

It will take a while to get used to, and a few kinks ironed out, but overall I think people are really liking the new change.  Some of the comments I heard =

1. "The sound quality is better" (from the listeners)
2. "Less eco" (from the musicians)
3. "More homey"
4. "Fits us better"
5. "Still plenty of room"
6. "Larger and more roomey fellowship time"

The Short Afternoon Outreach Went Well

The 5 of us had a nice time (God always shows up!)

More Outreach Opportunities to Come in the near future!
Let's do our part to fullfill the Great Commission
(and we can start right here in Okpo first)

NEW CHAPEL

Our Main Sunday Church Service
which has been in the upstairs main sanctuary
 will be moving locations!

OUR NEW LOCATION =

Newly remodeled
Lowest Level Chapel
of the same Joongang Church in Okpo

why?

1. More quaint and Homey
2. Less time restrictions for us and the Korean church
3. Our past donut/fellowship time got too cramped in our old space
4. Newly remodeled space
5. perfect for the size of our congregation
6. we won't get in the way of the korean church quite so much
